Network & Security Administrator
THIS IS A IN-PERSON POSITION, LOCATED AT OUR NOVI, MICHIGAN HEADQUARTERS POSITION
Summary:
Provision, deploy, configure, and administer various security-related hardware and software including Windows Servers, Azure Cloud, O365 Administration, firewalls, routers, switches, various network monitoring tools, and VPNs (virtual private networks).
Perform network-based security risk assessments, and help design new infrastructure solutions as the association expands or replaces its system architecture.
Responsibilities:
o Monitor and log security concerns and incidents and generate reports and track performance.
o Maintain a physical and virtual environment to protect servers, switches, and the entire information technology system while balancing the overall load.
o Maintain firewall, virtual private network, web, and email security programs, protocols, and security.
o Document the current network environment including device mapping, VLAN attributes, and security protocol implementations, and maintain future documentation throughout infrastructure changes.
o Handling and troubleshooting issues with NAT.
o Configure and maintain private cloud initiatives (Azure/AWS/O365)o Troubleshooting DNS/DHCP issues within the networko Involved in troubleshooting network traffic and its diagnosis using toolsets such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, and TCP dump.
o IP subnetting and various designing and allocating IP address classes to the domain.
o Configure and deploy QOS and defined class of service (COS) WRED and WFQ for bandwidth management.
o Design and deploy various network security & high availability security products, including Zero Trust networking.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements/Certifications:
Bachelor's degree required work experience of seven or more years in related cloud infrastructure configuration and management, as well as LAN network configuration.
Knowledge of various PC hardware and software applications including:
o Knowledge of Cisco IOS, Cisco VPN, FortiGate FW technology, FortiGate VPN, HP/Aruba, and NextGen Firewall Technologies.
o Cloud-based services (Azure, AWS).
o Multi-factor Authentication.
o Zero Trust Security.
o Knowledge of switch technologies, Cisco / HP Arubao Sound knowledge of routing and switching concepts and MPLS and SD-Wan Designo Extensive experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting firewall appliances, failover DMZ zoning & configuring VLANs/routing/NAT with the firewalls.
o SD-WAN deployment and management.
o Effective troubleshooting and documentation skills.
o Exchange Online, MS Teams (VoIP), Intune, Endpoint protection, and other associated Microsoft management toolso Experience creating a customer knowledge base.
