Forklift Operator
Randstad, the largest staffing firm in the world, is working with a Global Automotive Supplier in need of qualified forklift / tugger operators for fast paced production environment. These positions are Temporary to Permanent and are conveniently located off of I 275, just South of Metro Airport in New Boston. - Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment by performing the following duties.
- Sit down and stand up powered industrial truck operation
- Assembles wooden or cardboard containers or selects pre-assembled containers. Inserts items into containers.
- Routes items to departments.
- Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Responsible for meeting expectations and ensuring a 100% delivery rating
- Work as a team in a fast paced environment
- Maintain basic housekeeping standards
- Other tasks as necessary based on demand
- Willingness and desire to work overtime as needed
Working hours: 2:00 PM - 10:10 PM
- Ability to speak English and (ideally) German language.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Basic ability to enter data
- Adapts to changes in the work environment; Manages competing demands; Changes approach or method to best fit the situation; Able to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
High School
- Minimum of six months powered industrial truck operations within the past 18 months

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
