Sanitation Technician

Job Description
Kelly Services is looking for Sanitation Technicians to work at a leading manufacturer of food products in New Boston MI. Sanitation Operators are responsible for disassembling, cleaning, sanitizing, and re-assembling all manufacturing and storage equipment in the facility in preparation for daily food production. Requirements
Essential Functions:
The Sanitation operator cleans & sanitizes equipment in our food production facility in compliance with company policy related to GMPs and Safety.
Perform cleaning and sanitation of facility equipment and environment in a thorough and safe manner.
Perform routine custodial services, building and grounds upkeep, tasks required according to the master sanitation schedule, and other duties as assigned.
Assemble and disassemble facility equipment.
Responsible for all waste material removal and disposal.
Operate cleaning systems and equipment as trained and specified.
Ensure accurate record keeping of performed cleaning are properly documented according to company policy.
Adhere to all current SOP's and SSOP's
Working Conditions:
The work environment requires tolerance to variations in temperature, wet conditions, exposure to food products, and manufacturing equipment that includes a variety of controls and mechanisms.
Ability to manipulate equipment utilizing manual dexterity
Ability to stand, walk, squat, and sit for long periods of time
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions
Ability to push and lift items with varying degrees of weight.
Ability to perform repetitive motion movements with upper extremities
Shifts Available:
1st Shift: 6:00am to 2:00pm
3rd Shift: 9:00pm to 5:00am
Over time available on occasion.
Job Type: Temp-to-Hire
Pay Rate: $13/hour

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
